Cats Deo, Raven and Hubble

Our gentle 8 year old cat Deo loves catnip!

We enjoy taking photos of Deo because of his beautiful healthy orange creamcicle coat. He has amber eyes, white "gloves" and "socks" and a raccoon tail. 

 Deo is adaptable and sweet. He cares for us and takes care of us. He always comes to greet us and comes when he is called. He even knows how to shake paws on command, for a treat.

Soon, Deo will meet his new roommates, 4 month old Raven and Hubble. After much consideration and research, we made the decision to increase our cat family. 

 Raven is all black, even her whiskers, nose and toes. She is petite, with long hind legs. It's difficult to photograph her because of her dark color. She is playful but polite. She likes cuddling. We chose her name because she is sleek, black velvet, shiny, somber and a little mysterious. We look forward to getting to know her better.

 Hubble is a goofball! He is enthusiastic and very funny. He cares for his sister, he checks on her and puts his paw on her forehead. He is a tan and black tabby. It's difficult to photograph Hubble for a different reason, he doesn't sit still! Most of my first day photos are of a tan blur, excitedly running and exploring. He is so excited to live with us. That is why we went with the name Hubble. He is an explorer and an observer. He will discover wondrous things and enjoy his life. 

The two kittens are siblings and they hooked us the moment we met them at the Humane Society. They allowed us to turn them upside down, they were quiet and polite and interested in the toys we showed them. They came as a pair, they belong together. We met many cats in our search to many animal shelters but these two are special, we could immediately see that they had good personalities. When we got them home, they livened up and adored their new home! They have not met Deo yet, but we think the three cats will form a loving family. 

 They are both well-behaved and know how to use the litter box already. When given their first cat treats, Raven gobbled hers up and Hubble picked up his and took it into the bathtub then batted it around the floor of the tub. 

 Welcome to our home and our lives, Raven and Hubble. You are going to love it here! And Deo will be a loving big brother, please be gentle with him.

In Hubble's first visit to the vet, the vet tech turned on the faucet for him and he got in the sink and took a shower, he shook and sprayed water all over their computer. Then he had a wet mohawk hairdo for the doctor when she met him. So silly!

Our cats make us so happy! Our lives are richer because of their companionship.
